I really like the look of your watch. Simple and classy looking. I have seen several you tube reviews singing the praises of the gentleman. Would you recommend it? Silly question really!

Tbh, i bought this watch simply becuz of its look/design n the versatility of it. Under bright light, this watch look absolutely stunning. The main complain for lot of people maybe the lug width of 21mm. But for me 20mm n sometime 22mm strap can also work with this,so no problem for me. N also the 80hours power reserve is very convinient for me. Mine is black dial n for me it look classy compare to the blue n green dial which look more modern. Overall i would say its a solid choice entry level swiss watch that can be wear daily.

Some people balk at combinations of dress or divers with leather- but that WORKS!

I have fallen in love with the Powermatic 80 in a Gentleman with the tiny little hash marks every second around the dial. If properly selected, the gorgeous dial screams class and old money. Plus, I get frissons and the vapors when I sync the exact time to the five pips on the shortwave, and then that sucker gains exactly two seconds a day for months on end.

Do you hear me? This is a mechanical watch that gains two seconds a day, regularly, for months on end. Like, well, like clockwork. Eat your heart out, Seiko5.

Sometimes when I check the time with the five pips on the shortwave every day, I get so excited I have lay down in a darkened room with a damp washcloth on my forehead.

TTFN,
