Brief review of my new Ingersoll watch

This is my first Ingersoll watch. I have been curious about this brand and bought one at last.

Ingersoll is an American/British company from past century still alive today. But their watches are completely made in China with Chinese movements and hence little American connection they have.

From different forums I learnt the Chinese automatic movements they use are quite good and reliable.

For this particular one, the watch is very big and extra metal part added around the case for no reason I could comprehend. It wears on my wrist like a paperweight. The leather belt is extremely hard and never fits properly. Either it it too tight or too loose. Even with the loose hole the watch case pushes against my wrist bone!

The rotor is very loud, louder than Miyota 8 series and there is weird kind of sound and feels like the movement will break apart if I shake my hand too much.

Main attraction of this piece is the 6 o clock cut of balance wheel and an extra moving part may be for show. It has unusual 29 jewels. Sub dial for date and day in an automatic is also less seen.

The crystal is domed mineral glass and the hands have weak lumes.

It cost me 24000₹ that is less than 300$, not a cheap one though.

Would’ve been better with a smaller dial and softer strap.

Crunchers, what do you think about this watch and anyone used Ingersoll watch here?

Apart from being my first watch bought an Ingersoll bronze Scovill Radiolite automatic bph 21600 accuracy mine +1sec/day (loved test result "watch accuracy meter app" so didn't retest!-also proves Myota movements have some quality!) Ref. https://www.watchuseek.com/threads/ingersoll-scovill-radiolite-100m-bronze-automatic-watch-review-unboxing-i05001-in-619.5259874/ cool video in link gives the full story. I could polish it up but like the patina, maybe give it a mini clean but prefer understated watches not too much glitz, horses for courses!
