Yes, I owned other watches before my SKX009. However, none had made me into watchmaking quite like it. It was gift from my wife to celebrate a new job. The first job after 6 months unemployed after the last company I was working for lost its biggest contract and had to layoff most of their employees, such as myself. So yes, this watch means a lot to me, horological and emotionally speaking.
