ALBA automatic. The new addition to my collection.
Off late I came across the brand ALBA. On reading a bit I realised it’s a sister brand from Seiko, which really got me hooked onto this brand. They make some lovely automatic timepieces and have the same movement.
At the heart of all ALBA watches are movements crafted by Seiko and at the budget prices that they offer these watches, I could not resist it and wanted to own one.
That’s when I stumbled upon @nikhilmakam who owns a watch shop and sells all Seiko watches and also has a good collection of ALBA watches. He helped procure this watch for me. I am all amazeballs for the sunburst dial and trust me it looks faboulous. The fact that it’s an automatic just added icing to the cake.
The watch came with a black rubber strap however my love for leather forced me to throw a tan leather strap on it.
ALBA is surely here to stay !!
Watches amuse me. You cannot have too many watches ever. I love and wear all my watches as every watch has a story.
That candy color dial is fan-tastic!
