Hi fellow crunchers,

Here is my latest acquisition (I need to do a bit of restoration work), a set of quartz-run dress watches I will share with my teenage daughter. She is already into watches but so far she only rocks Casio LCD models and I want to introduce (gently) her to the analogue display world. In a couple of years, upon her secondary school graduation, I intend to get her a mechanical model. Have you ever done anything similar? What's your take? Any suggestions?
