Hello everyone. I bought a vintage watch with screws in the back. The watch is currently out of order so I want to get it repaired, However there is one screw at the back that refuses to come out no matter how many times I turn it. Looking for advise on what to do/ how to open it

Take it to a watchmaker. Sounds like that screw may have sheared.
Yes, even if you get it out you won't have a useable screw to replace it. I'd stop trying now incase you damage the thread.
Take it to a watchmaker-don't mess with it and make it worse.
And keep it dry.
