Dugena diver

The other half is going to Germany soon and following @Uhrologe's post on German brands, has any one had any hands on experience with Dugena? Specifically it's diver variants?

Hi,

I've had the "Divers Friend" in my hands.

For around 110 Euros definately ok. Especially the one with the full lume dial. The bezel action feels and sounds very tiny. For the price nothing to disappoint but also nothing to impress. It's a watch I wanted to buy for my outdoor sport while running in the dark. As long as you don't have too high expectations it's fine.

Then there are their Submariner homages.

I saw them live but never had one in my hand. They looked definately ok. But I can't say anything about the haptic and the bezel action.

But again...for that price I feel hard to complain. 250 Euros for an automatic.

Another alternative if you are looking for such Homage are the Elysee Pro Ceramic.

You can find them online often for around 200 Bucks (the retail price is overpriced in my opinion). But if you get it on dicsount it's more han fine. Especially because of the Ceramic bezel and the sapphire coated glas (not full sapphire as some described). But I don't know if online distributers are an alternative for you, as your partner is propably looking for something at point of sale as a tourist.

My only Dugena experience is vintage, and a dresswatch. I got this cheap on ebay (about £30), on a terrible strap; replaced the strap and now it's one of my few trouble-free vintage watches.
