Timex, takes a lickin and keeps on tickin
Anyone remember that from the 70s? I use love those old commercials. I've had this one in my collection for a few years now and loved it so much, I bought one in all the colors. This is an automatic and they did a great job with the design. Since then, I've added a few of their newer pieces since they've been doing an outstanding job with bew designs.
From Rolex to Timex, I love variety in my collection. Anyone else have one of these?

I remember these. A lot of people forget Timex went through a long period of time without having automatic watches (all through the mid-llate 80s to early 2000s.) Then around 2008-09 they came out with their first automatics in decades. These used Chinese movements like the one in your watch. They were short lived, until the release of the Marlin which started their era with Miyota movements. But those 2008-10 releases were very well made.

Wow, thanks for the info. I didn't realize they went for sometime without automatics. Even though the versions I have are chinese movements, the have been very reliable. They don't get a lot of wrist time nowadays but having them on once in a while really makes me appreciate them.

Hahaha, I know the feeling. I still remember the commercial where a dad was watching his son play hockey and the puck hit his watch. And it kept on ticking lol
