I love the look of this one, but a bit out of my price range. I'm getting myself an Escapement Time with similar looks (originally King Seiko?).
It might be my favorite-favorite (don't tell the others) ❤.
ET KS replica purchase: If that's what you feel comfortable with, in terms of price and ethics, then sure, it will give you a sense of how it feels to own "the real thing". Tip: Try finding it used. At least here in Norway, I see people buy these Escapement Time watches and quickly move on.
I tried the King Seiko replica from Escapement Time, and even if I bought it used for half the price, I still felt like an organ harvesting supporting fraud wearing it.
This Citizen is worth the price of 27 such ET watches easily. Tip (nr. 2): If you buy JDM from Japan, ask for more high pixel-count pictures of the watch, to check alignment and such. They are a technologically sophisticated country but some stores seem to still use digital cameras from 1999.

Not sure we are talking about the same thing here. ET has been making a lookalike of GS for a while for which there are some 2nd-hand copies around, and whether its more GS or KS is debatable. The ET I was talking about is this:
This is fairly new, haven't seen 2nd hand copies around.
My motivation is not to have a Citizen Chronomaster itch scratched. I am simply short of half-decent quartz dress watches with a traditional layout - just have a £10 cheapo, and this ET will certainly be an upgrade.

Very nice
Love the Dial on this one!
Well it seems that Citizen CAN make a premium looking watch when they set their mind to it.
Very classy!
