It’s here. I about knocked over the FedEx driver to get to this watch. I’ve waited a long time and it’s now on my arm. So let’s take a look at what’s good or great to what’s bad or just just wrong. If you noticed the unique style of this watch, you probably wonder where the design idea comes from.

This is a design taken right from one of the US Navy’s most advanced ships. To be exact the full lume dial is to represent the radar display from on the ship. The hands

On the dial are representative of ships. The angles of the case represents the angles of the ship

All in all a pretty impressive design to say the least. As far as the size of the watch, I’m not going to go into that. Everyone’s

size and preference is different. For me, I like a bit bigger of a watch and one of some heft. This watch although look huge, I must say wears very well and does not feel too big. The bezel turns very smooth and right on the money. No back play either. This watch uses the Seiko NH34 movement. The dial is a full lume c3/bgw9. The crystal is sapphire crystal with an AR coating. The bracelet is a very sturdy bracelet

It comes with an easy, push the button micro adjustment. The cost is about $330 US dollars for this watch. Well is it worth it? For me, I think this is one heck of a watch for the money. It a very substantial watch with a very good movement and I believe it will be around for a long time. Now we must talk about some of the down sides.

The bezel with the way the gnarl is cut, is very very sharp. I don’t think it would have cost much to have had it filed down a bit. Still talking about sharpness, the bracelet needs to have the link edges softened a bit also. I must say. They went to such a great length to make a great bracelet the to leave the links sharp is unthinkable. Last but not least is the gmt function. I realize it’s just an office GMT but to have the hours so small you can’t see them. It makes the GMT virtually useless. So comes the great question? Am I glad I bought the watch? Yes and I think if the sharpness doesn’t bother you, you will enjoy the watch too. Just saying!
