Garbage follow up!
Don’t even know where to start other than stating the obvious, ( Chinese garbage ) one piece came that didn’t fit, on the main unit one piece was stripped aluminum, my computer didn’t recognize it and the software instruction were in Chinese.

I’ve decided to hold on to the microscope after Jerry rigging the boom.
The software instructions are still in Chinese but I finally got it to work on my computer. If your not taking pictures or recording a video but just want to use it on a monitor then that will work!
As far as the magnification goes, that works just fine. Unlike the cheaper ones at least this will allow you to use a Barlow .5 lens to get the working distance that you need. As far as the broken or poorly designed part goes, Hayear is sending a new piece but my Jerry rigging I think is better then even there piece that might work.
Would I buy it again? Well maybe not. I probably would have waited until I could afford the Amscope that I wanted. I say that now but who knows. It’s nice having something!
If you really need a microscope but can’t afford a Amscope decked out and if your willing to Jerry rig this one, then you might appreciate having it after all. Having said that, the Amscope is really the better way to go but for a good one $800+ where this cost me about $500
