The Nodus Back Story - How to Build a Microbrand

I had a lot of fun watching this pod about how the Nodus brand got started. You can hear from @Wes_nodus on how they got started. Great to hear their 'origin story'. Lot's of insights on the micro brand market.

It was a surprise to me too. Did not know that. Also fun to hear these guys have been friends since college and independently found watch love.

Friends since middle school actually! Still remember the day I met him - Cullen was wearing a purple Megadeth t-shirt.

They are more partnerships - not client-manufacturer relationships. This type of structure has never been tried before in the watch industry, which is why we stay relatively low key about it for now. This approach is vital to protect our corner of the industry, which is facing some pretty rough headwinds currently.

Yes, we built the supply chain and we run it on behalf of others, but it is purely a collaborative effort to do things that small brands otherwise wouldn't be able to do - and at a price point that would otherwise be unrealistic at smaller volumes.

I hope our shipping partners get it to you by Christmas. Starting to see some minor delays around the world. In any case, hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for clarifying. On a totally unrelated matter, any plans to release a deep sector with an orange dial?

Yes - we have a Design Lab project that is about to be launched on Wednesday with Random Rob. I'll DM you some details and pics.
