Follow up to my which-is-heavier post

I posted a poll the other day asking which you thought would be heavier,

  • Steel 3861 Sapphire Speedmaster Professional

  • Titanium Pelagos FXD

I measured these because after months of wearing them back to back, I was surprised at how close they felt in weight (when the Speedmaster wasn’t on its bracelet of course).

And it turns out they are the exact same (to the 1/10th gram). I suppose the rotor and integrated lugs are largely what’s offsetting the titanium advantage

Just found this interesting, and explains why I enjoy the wearability of both so much
