I am just starting. I made some mistakes. Need advices.

I bought fashion watch. Its really bad (Emporio Armani). I bought wrong classic Casio. And I don't like Bisset. It have bad quality.

Bartosz like everything in life watches are very subjective, whilst there are collective opinions of what is good and bad ultimately you buy what you like what makes you happy, the fashion watch you bought at that time you liked it. as you have learnt more you may view it a bit differently but it still holds a place in your collection. Absorb the information take advice if needed take inspiration but ultimately follow your own path. If we all bought the same watches this would be a very boring website. I don’t think you have made mistakes it’s just our tastes and opinions evolve with time and knowledge. A mistake would buying a watch you can’t afford 😂👍🏻

I Am also quite new to watches. As a form of research, when i see a watch i am attracted to i try to find out the model of the watch and search reviews of it on youtube and google. I am mostly looking for any negatives about the watch and if the negatives are things i can accept and live with or a deal breaker. So far this has helped in my watch buying decisions. There is also members on this forum that are helpful and you can ask a question and wait for some replies. Good luck. 🤗

Don’t see it as mistakes, with this you can take the pieces you don’t like as much and gift it to someone else, who might become a fellow cruncher. And don’t look at what others call must haves develop your own taste and enjoy it. Especially here you will find more support for a genuine heartfelt enthusiast, rather than the typical YouTube influenced collector (sorry ;-))

Welcome to WatchCrunch! 🎉most of us make purchases early into out collecting that we grow out of as we learn more and more about watches and decide which direction we want to go with it. Don’t feel so bad my friend it’s completely normal. Just take your time getting new pieces so that you allow your self time to gain knowledge on why you are getting a piece added to the collection

Learn your tastes, buy only what you really like, that you will wear consistently over time and have fun with the research before every purchase.

You can always try to sell/gift any timepiece you are no longer happy with and would prefer not to be part of your collection anymore. Mistakes can always be corrected. 👍

Welcome! You cultivate your tastes over time. You'll start to know what you really like in a watch, what you don't like, and what you absolutely need. Check out the WRUW feature for some really cool stuff. Filter out what's important to you and don't mind the haters or trolls. Have a budget and stick to it, especially the higher priced pieces. Most importantly, have fun!

For dress watches under $200, I know the Orient Bambino comes highly recommended. I've also seen plenty of great Citizens and Seikos on Jomashop for well under $200. Even some from Tissot.

Only mistake is that there are 2 open slots🤣😂

Maybe add some Seiko or Longines. I would gift the fashion watch since at this stage you probably will not wear it. Glad you are here

I was thinking about Seiko. There is so many od them that its hard to choose.
