Agreed up to a certain point. Crown guards are great for the modern watch look... something sporty preferably.
In my opinion, if a manufacturer is aiming for a timeless and classic look (in the case of the Tudor BB line), you have to go with no guard. Keeps the look clean, understated, and most importantly, versatile.

Looks good! The BB line has always gone after that vintage Rolex aesthetic, and the lack of crown guards nails it.

Wish it were smaller. Love the 5 link and red insert. Master Chronometer upgrade is nice, too. Opted for the BB54 due to smaller size.
