Battery,

I always change the batteries in my budget watches myself, in your valued opinions should I do this one myself or take it in to the dealer i bought it from? Thanks. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Personally if itโ€™s not going near water Iโ€™d do it myself, however if you do get it wet or you want to preserve the tag only service history to it, then AD it is ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

If itโ€™s in warranty then go to the dealer

Take it to the dealer as they should be able to replace the seals and guarantee waterproofing. Mines going back to Tag.

If the watch is worth anything, it should get a pressure test before going into the water. This can be part of the manufacturer service, or you can change battery and gaskets yourself. But even then it should be pressure tested.

Do it yourself unless you're going to get it properly wet. Batteries are dirty cheap on Amazon.

I do my inexpensive watches myself and take my Tag to a Tag dealer.
