Ollech & Wajs dropping ETA
Got email today that stated...
"Dear Ollech & Wajs Friend,
After a more than 60 years long relationship, 2022 will be the last year Ollech & Wajs Zürich manufacturers watches with ETA movements. After years of research and testing of alternatives, we have decided to phase out ETA movements for what we believe will be a better and more sustainable alternative.
We will therefore assemble a final limited production series of ETA 2824 watches. This final ETA-based series will feature commemorative packaging and will be limited to 56 pieces per reference.
We will unveil the technical specifications of our new movement at a later point this spring.
