Girard Perregaux Gyromatic HF
Somehow I have become a collector of these classic 60's automatics. This one is just back from the watchmaker. The Gyromatic HF is reputed to be the first high frequency 36,000 beat watch. Quickset Day and Date, hacking and GP's ground breaking 39 jewel automatic movement. 35mm but that's totally fine with me.

Very nice indeed, I think these were introduced in 1966 one year before Seiko came out with their Hi Beat Lord Marvel. Advance for the time as most movements then were around 17 jewels, 18,000 vph & didn't hack!
