Obviously I needed all 300m of water resistance for this very minor plumbing job. 🌊This is my Seiko SBBN049 Tuna with a Zulutime waffle strap. I often wear this on Sundays because I love the red pop of colour on the day wheel.

Extraordinary timepiece. Very difficult to find. Looking great on rubber strap 👍

I searched for this for a while and eventually found it in the Netherlands. It felt like it was the only one in the EU at the time I was trying to buy it! I’m sure it wasn’t but it felt like that. They’re reasonably available via Japanese auction sites like Buyee but I didn’t have the stomach for the risk of customs charges into my home country.

I like it on the rubber and the bracelet but it’s more comfortable on the rubber. The OEM bracelet is cool but not very adjustable with its huge links. The clasp is very adjustable, but it looks a bit silly with the diver extension let out a few notches. I have experimented with the clasp of my SPB297 on the bracelet and that works quite well.

Worth the hassle IMHO. Thank you very much for the useful information 🙏

My plumbing skills would definitely require 300m water resistance 😂
