(The often controversial) Autodromo Group C.
I’m a big fan of this small but weighty steel and sapphire digital. I replaced the stock strap which was cool looking but a bit of a hair puller with this weird FKM rubber strap from Esprit Nato. It is designed to allow you only pierce the hole you need, preserving a smooth surface. It also has the unexpected (and in my view undesirable) feature of smelling like cupcakes. 🧁 It is comfortable though, which I didn’t find the original one to be after a few hours of wear.
I have a few digitals in rotation and I’m a big fan of the build quality of this watch. It’s a top quality digital at the fraction of the price of a high end mechanical. Whilst not a competitor to G Shock in terms of toughness or water resistance, the finishing is vastly superior to all but the MR-G line.
Also looks great on a light grey Nomos fabric strap.
