Happy Sunday crunch. Hope a good weekend. Attempting something I have been contemplating for a while. Trying to see how I fair with the “4 Watch” collection/rotation. It was harder than I thought it would be as there are several pieces that I really like that got relegated to the “other” box.
I tried to be honest with myself asking which ones fit my lifestyle, offered the most functionality and covered the most ground. Quite surprised where I ended up…
I wear suits occasionally so needed a dress watch - Seiko Enamel Presage has been with me the longest. Its been very reliable and can cover a lot more than business formal if needed
The Speedy is my true daily driver and gets the most wrist time by far. Office/date nights/weekends running around. This was my birthday/anniversary watch. Waited years to get it and its been everything I hoped it would be and more...
The Oris is very special and holds great memories .. a strap monster that even though it is a pilots watch, feels vintage and dressy casual to me. A great change of pace that feels and looks great on the wrist.
The Strat-o-timer will be my workhorse when a “beater” is called for (hate that term).. specced up looker that will work for vacation traveling, poolside, yard work, etc.
Surprised.. divers aren’t here, no field watch, G Shocks, Casio AE1200, Cocktail Time, PRX..
Anyway.. just documenting - let’s see how long this last 😅

I reckon a fella could get pretty far on those four watches. So, let us know how far you get!
Here's my theory. A G-Shock is such an indispensable piece of equipment, that it's not really part of the "collection" per se.
So, you can have any number of collection and always have a "+G-Shock" that's not really counted.
Maybe I'm self-justifying, but I'm 100% ok with that for my G 😁
That PD is stunning brother, I think you can call it a career with those 4 pieces, great collection.

Agreed. Everyone needs a solid digital watch, be it a G-Shock or Ironman.
You've got a GREAT collection. Traveller GMT, nice dressy Seiko, the Oris (which can easily pull double duty as a field watch) and the Speedmaster. If you want a diver you have LOADS of options there. I'd personally get a solar G-Shock and basically any diver and be set.
Also, what are the straps above the Seiko and the Speedmaster?

Those are both Artem Sailcoths on deployants… big fan for sure

Ahh I keep hearing great things about them
Honestly, this is a solid line up... interested to hear how it goes!
