I mentioned in a previous post that I liked the look of the Concord Saratoga SL my mother gave me on a leather strap, but since the previous strap was a cheap one I had laying around. I wanted to get something a little more substantial and that new strap came today!
I got my hands on the chestnut buttero from Delugs with the curved springbars. I noticed in the previous strap (gray) that since the lugs on the watch are short, straight springbars seem to bend which could cause problems later. Luckily this strap came with the option of bent springbars - a first for me.
The result ended up looking beautiful, the steel bracelet it came with was not doing the watch any favors. Sometimes it's really just a strap change that can change a watch.
A game developer by trade and if I didn't enjoy watches, I wouldn't be here. I am to blame for the really old-ass looking photos on the WRUW page. Particularly fond of Casio, Citizen and vintage Conco...

I don’t see these too often. I’m happy to see another Concord owner!

Honestly I would have completely overlooked the brand if I wasn't gifted it, I do have a new found appreciation for the brand now that it's in my possession
