Anything but digital

I own both and I wear both. But normally my go to for any yard/garage/shop work is the G-Shock. Both watches are great.

Which one is more comfortable on your wrist ?

If you must keep one, which one would you pick ?

Im afraid I don’t know how much help I’ll be. The solar tuna (soltun abbreviation) is what started my journey. So no matter what, it stays. The solar tuna is great because it is so accurate and I never have to mess with it. I also love swapping nato straps on it. That said the gshock also stays because of the heritage and how rugged it is. Both are very confortable for me.

Just not my cup of tea, I'm 53 and used to analogue now my eyes are deteriorating I prefer something I can instinctively tell the time at a glance.

Had 20+ years with G-Shock's, for me they're a tool and nothing more, but to each their own. 👍🏻

Thanks for sharing, that explains the profile name 😁

I used to have a dw5600 and the strap was not very comfortable, unlike the silicone strap of the Seiko Turtle

I also have the same experience, sometimes digital displays are difficult to see from certain angle, thanks for sharing

I’m probably a little biased towards the comfort of a gshock type of watch. For years a Timex Ironman was a daily so I’m accustomed those type of straps. Usually in the heat and after a good amount of work a gshock type strap seems to break in for me.

Voted Tuna but what about this one?

Analog hands for quick time reading, digital when needed.

This is a tough one. I love my solar Tuna but I don't wear it as a beater. One of my next beater purchases will be a DW5610.

I still voted DW5610 for the abuse it can sustain. I feel the Tuna is more deserving than being bashed against metal racks for no apparent reason.

I'm afraid the arnie is too big for my 6.75" wrist.

Really like the look though

Just for reference, I have a 6.5", and to me both tunas fit fine. The relatively short lugs help.

It is still a big watch tho for sure and I am used to wearing big watches.

Pic for reference.
