In search of the ultimate jubilee bracelet

Hi all, I’m looking to replace the bracelet on my Islander Manhasset. I love the watch, and I love that the bracelet has solid end links, but I’m not in love with the clasp. Does anyone know where I can find a solid jubilee bracelet to put on this watch?

Have you tried uncle straps?

Have you tried uncle straps?

How can I know if their bracelet would fit my watch?

Contact them directly and give them your watch’s information. They are a California based company. Their customer has been very good when I’ve had questions.

Will do!

Focus on the clasp. If that's the issue, that's where you make the change.

I don’t know a lot about modifying watch parts. Are there ways to change only the clasp?

Certainly. They are attached by spring bars. If you can size a bracelet for yourself and have the tools, then you can do it. Firstly, remove the clasp to get comfortable with the idea. Measure the width of the clasp and buy the replacement based on that. Swap it in and off you should go, but do not lose any of the original parts. The worst that can happen is you're looking for a replacement for the whole bracelet again.
