Welcome! And I would tend to agree for the most part. But I’m the watch enthusiast circle, it’s much harder to tell since we like all sorts of styles!

According to me, people who select the pertinent style, colour and size of the watch they wear according to their outfit are mindful of their image and how people would perceive them.

That’s a fair observation - however, people without a vast amount of money or an extensive collection of watches can take pride and care in their appearance - equally a Patek owner might choose to wear it with a knackered T-shirt and flip flops.
