Office watch buddies are the best. Especially when they’re a little further up the salary ladder 😄swapping my Patek for this whilst I’m in the office today. More people should do this, “A day on the wrist,” we call it! Makes it much easier to get a sense of what a watch is like past trying it on.
I’ve long wanted a 36mm Explorer, it really is a step above my Black Bay 36 if I’m honest about it. Maybe not double the watch, but enough that I still would have one when the time is right.
The 2-tone works brilliantly in person. It’s actually quite subtle, it’s not until it catches bright outdoor light that the polished center links beam in gold. Hard to say if I’d have this over the standard or not, perhaps with the Black Bay 36 it’d make more sense.
