I handled expensive diver watches: Rolex sub, Tudor bb, bb58, bb54, pelagos, Breguet Omega PO and diver 300.
I also looked at microbrands and lower priced watches.
In today's world any watch can be considered a luxury in a certain POV.
IMHO, the SPB147 offers a ton of enjoyment no other watch can match. Granted, the movement may be inferior to other brands. For accuracy one would argue for an HAQ instead. But what I see is a beautifully gifted coffee dial with a beautifully chamfered case.
Hard to beat that.

It’s a great diver, but hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder, my eyes are very similar to yours 😂
To answer your question luxury is normally associated with high cost but…. I think this is a luxurious Casio 😉
Yes, I've got a 147 too & I consider it to be a Luxury watch as it's really not that different to my Seamaster 300 externally.
Beautiful watch mate 😍👍🏻👍🏻
It's a fancy desk diver that's for sure.
Looks great. Love that strap.
That is a good lookin’ combo my friend!
Great set up there. Love an honest looking rig!
Cheers mate
Agreed. Movement is the only down side.
I have a SPB147, my only Seiko, and I love it !
