Cler watch restoration #1

I am trying to restorate this old manual Cler watch, I have already ordered a new acrylic crystal (the one that it shown in the photo is broken and doesn't attach properly), and a new strap.

There are also some problems that I have had:

The first one is trying to open the case, it seems obvious that is a snap cap but I can't get it open (it doesn't have any notch to make it easier).

The second one is that the movement is extremely fast, it does one minute in around 45 seconds. I have very little knowledge about movements (as I am relative new to this hobby) but if I am not mistaken, at least modern movements have like a pin to calibrate its speed.

Also I would appreciate if anyone is aware of the exact model of this watch.

Your watch appears to be from the 1960's. Looks very nice!

You can get it open with a watch case knife:

Or for the really tough ones:

Run a demagnitizer on it to see if it calms it down a bit:

If that doesn't work you can just regulate it with a gentle hand once you get the back off. Lots of YouTube vids out there showing how to do it. Just have a steady hand and move it a tiny, tiny amount, like 0.5 mm.

Let us know how it goes!
