Orient Bambino V2 Check

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to do a quick check on this Orient Bambino V2 that I've had for quite some years.

Was wondering about the dial variations of this specific Orient type, since mine reads "Water Resist" while I've seen quite a lot of other - assumably newer - V2 variances (with different dial colors) that reads "Water Resistant".

I'm quite aware that Orient's serial numbering is confusing and it's quite a trouble identifying the type/model since the numbers on the watch's back (WL ER24-C2-A CS), numbers on the tag it came with (FER2400EW0) and the exact same model (AC00009W) that I found on Orient's website all vary.

But interestingly enough, the model's picture displayed on the page also reads "Water Resist" - https://orient-watch.com/Collections/ORIENT/Classic/ORIENT%3A-Mechanical-Classic-Watch/p/AC00009W

Does this discrepancy in the dial due to production year differences or geographical model? Bought the watch around 2016, if it provides any help.

Anyway, the strap's now non-existent since it broke in half after 7-years of wear and tear.

Thanks!

They updated the model in 2019 or so if I am right. The second iteration all have water resistant on the dial including mine.

Nice! Thanks for shedding a light on this. Figured that it might have to do with the year. Cheers
