Henri Sandoz Women's Wristwatch

This is the first of 2 watches I picked up for my girlfriend, and honestly this watch was love at first sight for me. I bought this for her on our 6 month anniversary. Its a hand wound movement and it is not the most accurate but it is absolutely beautiful to look at!

Two practical stylish but sensible watches! What's going on at 11:30 on the dial? Is that discoloration or loose debris? I'd worry (a little) about the latter.

I believe that is discolouration, but I can’t be too sure. I sure do hope it ain’t loose debris.

If it isn't moving, it's not loose enough to be very concerned. I just went to the watchmaker with a 1920's pocket watch whose hands had literally rusted away into a pile of dust. Cracking the case revealed the movement to be sparkling and like new. Either way, it should be cleaned up at the service that is probably overdue. Think of that for the one year anniversary.
