Bronze San Martin Willard gun blueing

Thanks to watchcrunch for suggesting gun glueing on a bronze watch. I’ve always wanted the black bronze look. Tried all summer swimming in the ocean to try and get it naturally however a day in a friends pool completely undid everything. it came out looking new again.

so I decided to try the forced patina stuff.

egg was very effective but never black and rarely even.

I submerged the watch in ketchup to undo any unwanted patina patern 

This gun bluing took 3 coats and an hour. 
 

For those that don’t know you can pick up gun cold blueing pasted and firearm stores for under $20. Amazon as well.
