I get it and that's why I paired them against each other, but for me it's an easy vote towards the Rangeman. He's my big loyal dog that sleeps outside and can fend for himself.
The Seiko is the pure breed dog that looks tough and all, but is really just a dumb labrador with it's ears cut and a spiked collar.

I cannot stand digital plastic watches. I really understand the purpose however they are just horridly ugly and even worse than smart watches. Only wear them if you use a jackhammer 12 hours+ a day otherwise pass

Daaaamn mate! Not many can manage to smash to pieces a G-Shock like you did! 🦍 To be honest, I don't wear it much either for reasons not too dissimilar from yours, but I still like it more than that cheapy Seiko 🤷 I just respect the fact that it really can take a true beating. So what do you wear while overlanding and camping in that super badass 4x4?
This Steinhart diver is a rock solid alternative. Flawless in every aspect, keeps execlent time and great for everyday activities. (Unless you use a jackhammer all day, then the Gshock is the go mate) 😝Kinda agree on your “cheap” comment on the seiko
