I’m often blown away at the extent of WCs beautiful collections, and in particular, the hermetically sealed, french polished, ex-rainforest watch boxes. Lined in leather and velvet, I imagine they’re scented with Oud and Sandal wood, and probably make a “psssshh” noise when you open them..
Then I remember my sorry old flea market jumble of watches; thrown in a sock drawer and stored in a festering mess of free watchrolls, service pouches and old toe nail clippers..
And I think to myself, am I actually feral!?
Do I deserves to own these beautiful watches given the hovel I force them to live it?
Should I buy a proper safe, or is the risk of catching tetanus enough of a deterrent to would be thieves to leave my watches alone..!?
Please, join me in either flexing your monogrammed mahogany, or disgust us with your heinous crimes against horology.. (I can’t be the only one..right!?)
