Shipping takes forever!
Ordered the new and immediately sold-out Spinnaker Hass Beluga Blue from Island Watch (they were the only ones who still had it after Spinnaker’s website sold out) and I think I got the very last one Island had, as the site said sold out after mine shipped. It shipped Monday, but I won’t have it till December 8! Oh the humanity! Anyways, can’t wait till it finally gets here. And that lume!!!

I definitely wanted to order direct. 2 weeks from New York to Anchorage is kind of ridiculous… but whatever, it’ll be cool when it gets here 😊

I wanted the 50 Phantoms a lot, but the timing was bad. Hopefully I’ll get the chance to order one next year when they do 3rd run since they said it wasn’t going to be limited production 🤞🏻

I'm curious how long it took for them to ship it out, was that 3 days from when it shipped, or 3 days from ordering? Also if you don't mind me asking, did you end up getting charged duties and tax?
I ordered a Spinnaker Cahill the other day and I'm also in Ontario. I'm very much looking forward to the email telling me it's on the way haha
3 business days after ordering and yes had to pay duty fees
Quick update: the Spinnaker arrived Monday, but after a single day wearing it, my wife absconded with it, informing me that it’s a Christmas present. I’ll prob actually post a review, but short story: I’d call this the most comfortable watch I own (of over 40!). Case finishing is superb, and the dial in incredible IRL, esp the lume. Mine is #25 of 500! Wasn’t expecting to get such a low number. The ultimate workhorse, the Seiko NH35A seemed to keep excellent time during my short time with it. So a couple pics, and I’ll do a review later. Yes, that’s a lume pic I took!
