About a watch with character -

A Datejust 36 with the fluted bezel, salmon dial and roman numerals is not an easy watch to wear. It is not your „go anywhere do anything“ versatile daily beater that you can just put on your wrist and go. Of course you could do that but than it will wear you, more than you are wearing it. Not a big blinky nor a heavy hefty piece, but it comes with a valuable weight that fills the room before you enter it. It wants to be respected, is gentle, arouses curiosity and excitement but keeps a certain distance and is calm at the same time. It is sophisticated and its elegance speaks for itself. It wants to be recognized like a piece of art but not by the crowd around. It wants to be recognized by you, the owner. It wants to be conquered and understood correctly. It wants you to discover its greatness and its details. It wants to take the lead and it asks you „why am I on your wrist today?“ It wants to be matched with the right environment and not to be wasted by the same second it sweeps for you. It will expose your outfit if it doesn’t match and complement your outfit more than any other watch, if you haven’t selected the right colors and style for it. It wants you to make the right decision why, where and when to wear it. It doesn‘t want to be taken for granted and it is not just another watch but the watch. This is how I would describe the aura of this reference 16234 everytime when it is on my wrist.
