Question: Buying watches online from Ali Express & other Microbrand sites for US.
Hi! Would need an insight on duties & taxes payable on watches ordered online for US.. For example if a watch is 140 dollars on Ali Expess and I order the same for location Virginia in US.. what would I have to pay additional in any form(duties/taxes etc) and what would be my landing cost .. thanks in advance 🙏

I don't believe you pay import duties on anything valued under $800. Not certain about sales tax though.
There will be a tax charged depending on your state.

Aliexpress has a Official Sea-Gull store and they also have Merkur. Both of those companies have in house movements. Sea-Gull has some really cool offerings if you look at that official store. Aslo I saw a Mekur last night for $24 for a mechanical watch. Kinda insane. Aliexpress is a fun website for watch shopping. Hard to get buyers remorse over a $25-100 watch. Ive never had to pay duties or taxes. I usually get my watches in about 2-3 weeks. Yet to have any issues.
