Utilitarian Field Watch with a Touch of Refinement - Towson Watch Co. Cadet
I‘m really digging’ the new Recruit vs Cadet field watch series from TWC. I had the Cadet version of the new CR250 in for a review and ended up keeping it! The dial is such a dark blue that it presents as black, and the yellow accents are a welcome pop of color without being too bold. But some boldness does come in with the oversized 7mm crown and flanged crown guards. A very thin coin edge design to the fixed bezel adds a touch of elegance to an otherwise tool watch look. And this handset is a stellar capture of what reminds me of vintage military instrument gauges. All of the above gels together to create a great daily driver!
