I may have bid on an auction item that I was sure to be outbid on. Alas, it’s mine now. It needs repair. The numbers below the 6 on the dial are  Seiko 7009 449R R any help with more information would be greatly appreciated.

"Seiko 7009" refers to the movement. A quick Google search says that it dates back to the 1970s.
