John, I do play guitar and know quite a few Harry Chapin songs which I play quite often. Yes Jeff, that's Taxi by HC. I was fortunate to see him when I was a kid and I have loved him ever since. Died too young, but his music lives forever.
My holy Trinity of singer songwriters are Jim Croce, Harry Chapin and James Taylor. Only James is still alive
When my kids were little we would listen to Harry’s brother Tom Chapin who was an accomplished children’s singer. Most were so good that I would take my kid’s CDs and listen to them by myself on the way to work!
