Did see this when it was first launched in 2022 and admired it then.
It ticked pretty much every GS box for me (spring drive, no date, no power meter on the front, 44GS case, capped second hand, etc.) but it was well out of reach price-wise and I assumed that they would sell out swiftly.
Two years on I was reminded of it by seeing a pre-owned one for sale and surprisingly they are still available new (“decide quickly there’s only a few left” in AD parlance) - and at a significant discount - so I was pretty delighted to get this.
The two boxes it didn’t squarely tick are: (i) at 40mm it’s a fraction larger than I would have liked but the thinness does help with that; and (ii) it didn’t come with a bracelet but I have managed to solve that with a GS bracelet that fits very well.

Driven to watches (researching and collecting affordably) by the boredom of COVID lockdowns. My - possibly attainable - grail watch would be a 6245 (Seiko or Grand Seiko) in nice condition … someday.

Thank you - made a terminal dent in my watch budget for a good while.
But definitely worth it - never thought I would be able to get a watch like this (both affordability and availability) so fate was good to me!
