Oh Happy Day!
A local jeweller has just started display stocking GS. Previously I had to go miles to see them.
Went in for a brief chat as they have only had them for a few weeks and I was just passing. But arranged to go back one quiet morning for a more serious inspection and browse. That will be a treat!

Driven to watches (researching and collecting affordably) by the boredom of COVID lockdowns. My - possibly attainable - grail watch would be a 6245 (Seiko or Grand Seiko) in nice condition … someday.

Enjoy, looks like a nice selection to get lost in. Thoroughly enjoyed my trip to the GS boutique in London the other week. Love both the springdrive and quartz movements and have my eye on the quartz snowflake as my ‘luxury’ piece (once finances allow)😀

Yes I was in the GS London Boutique in late February and that was a treat. But the nice thing about this local one is I’ve been in there a bit for different things so I am not a “stranger” as I was to the London crew, and in quiet moments these guys are always happy to talk watches.
It might be costly for me though … that they were difficult to find to see helped with my resistance! 😉
I have my favourite Spring Drive already and their dive watches are too big for me so hopefully that helps protect my wallet.
