Great looking watch - but I’ve never been one for GS. I appreciate the brand and the dials and finish are great but for some reason I just can’t pull the trigger on one🤨

No hard feelings! The movement finishing on this watch is amazing for the price point, though. I really love a good dial, and Grand Seiko (GS) speaks to me as I appreciate natural beauty its textures. I feel that GS combines those attributes better than most brands in their price segment. I also like how it’s they’re just really stealthy for when you wanna slide under the radar. And I will always love the smooth sweep of Spring Drive. It’s almost hypnotic.

Thank you for the compliment. I would ask your son! I normally find that the younger they are, the better they are with technology. One thing I can tell you is that lighting is key. I’m usually rotating 360° while outside in natural sunlight, trying to find the best angle for the camera to pick up all the details on the dial. If you don’t get the lighting right, sometimes you won’t even be able to tell that the hands are blued, for example. There are lots of little details that will or won’t get picked up depending on the direction the sunlight is coming from. Have a good evening Alex. 🥂
