Interesting you mention the thickness. That’s the one thing everyone I’ve spoken to loves about this new caliber & model. It’s much thinner than most other GS Spring Drive or hi-beat mechanical calibers. At only 11.7 or 11.8mm it’s only .2 or .3mm thicker than your Kurono Tokyo Annual Calendrier 'Azuki' and thinner than your Seiko 5 Sports Diver 7019 8020 - plus the Lake Suwa lugs hugs the wrist similarly to the Kurono. Not trying to argue as it’s your opinion but I find it odd that thickness was what drove you away. Have a great week! Cheers 🥂

Yeah I don’t know why it felt thick to me. After I tried it on I googled the specs and was surprised at the thickness. I guess I’ll have to try it on again😎
I think the more major thing that kept me away from the purchase is the fact that I want something to compliment my vintage GS. They’ve been killing it over the past couple years and see them producing different case shapes. I think there is something coming for me in the pipeline.
