Sometimes you're happy with your purchase & other times you're blown away
This Direnzo is a stretch for me
I would not have bought this as my only watch
This is good because my goal is a collection for multiple situations
I'm on a journey
I've 5 watches, that in hindsight, aren't for me & are being sold
I'm learning my style, through trial and error ๐

Well, technically, I'm also sometimes unhappy with my purchases. Probably way more often than I'm blown away.

It is a journey
I've found there's a difference between what looks great in my mind/pictures & what is fantastic on my wrist, with my style, in my "real" world...
If you're unsure, maybe take a pause ๐ค
I was not talking about that - that is more the dichotomy you described. But sometimes I buy a watch, take the new thing out of its box, and instantly I see a flaw I somehow missed in the online images. This is particularly frustating when that flaw is (in hindsight) actually clearly visible in some of those images.

Yeah, me too
Is it just a bit too dressy for you or the aesthetic doesnโt 100% fit your style?
Glad you still like it, such a gorgeous watch, my dark blue #direnzo Mondial is my favorite watch. Cheers mate.

I'm smitten with this watch & I love the colour, my favourite piece
My job is rather active & I could be in a city or out in a muddy field on any given day
The colour & obvious quality means it would stand out in a city, I wouldn't like to loose or brake it.
The blue is a bold choice for me (one I'm pleased to have made) & not as versatile as black, grey or white
Also Direnzo is not as replaceable as a Seiko or Christopher Ward should something untoward happened
A summer day off watch ๐๐

Completely understand. I used have a job where I had to work on tanks and pipes all day (still do occasionally), and I only started really collecting watches when I switched to a different role.
But I completely agreed, not a daily watch to rough house. Very happy you have it mate before this model runs out in this version ๐
