Help: Longines Spirit Chronograph Pioneer Edition

I recently noticed that my Chronograph hour hand (6 o’clock subdial) is misaligned. What’s weird about this is that the misalignment is more severe the longer the chronographs runs. When it is 1-3 hours, the Chronograph hour hand perfectly align with the minute. However as it runs longer (see pic above - 8 hours 30 min, hand is almost at 9) the hour hand moves past the hour indicators. This is fine but for 30 min intervals, let’s say 7:30, the hour hand would be really close to the 8.

Also the hands are perfectly aligned when at 0 position.

I have the exact watch in stainless steel and it doesn’t have this problem.

Anyone have an idea what’s going on? Thank you in advance.

I am thinking of taking it in to get looked at by the service center.

Disappointing to say the least. Years ago I had a watch with a small defect in one of the gears which produced a similar error. Unfortunately, you will have to send it in for service.

Yes, I’m suspecting that as well. I will definitely send it in. Thank you for the reply
