This watch is amazing looking. I share your view on the new batch. Too similar and where it is not, I am not a fan of the look so I will keep the Shiramaha.
I like the purple colour. Been looking at a bit more of a budget choice, can't decide whether to pull the trigger on a Casio MTP-1302PD-6A, can't really justify $500 or so on something like you have there.

Yeah, that was my big watch purchase last year, and I feel like I can justify going that big only about once a year. That Casio is pretty handsome, thought the purple isn't my favorite dial with that design.

I've got the tiffany dial version, had to wait ages to get that at retail because of all the hype. Still not convinced it's even worth retail being a plated case, a duro doesn't cost much more and that's a lot more watch.
