Enjoying Full Moon Thursay with a Frederique Constant Slimline Perpetual Calendar Manufacture. This stainless steel watch is 42 mm wide by a slim 12mm thick, a lug to lug of 47.2 mm, and 21 mm between the lugs. A 5.8 mm onion style crown and 4 pushers to set the calendar and moon phase complete this saucer like high polished case. It's water resistant to 30 meters. Beneath the boxed sapphire crystal sits a grey opaline dial. The subdials are sunken with the date at 3, day at 9, month and leap year at 12. A high polished silver moon and stars against a high gloss blue background are at 6. The hands and indexes are hand polished to a high gloss for amazing light play. Blue text and numerals at the top of the subdials and at the 15, 30, 45, and 60-minute markers give a nice pop of color. It's great to look at and easy to read. The watch is powered by the in-house designed and manufactured caliber FC-775. This 191-piece modular movement is nicely finished with Perlage and Cotes De Genève, along with a skeletonized engraved gold-plated rotor. The movement is hand assembled and pivots on 26 jewels and has a 38-hour power reserve. It comes with a blue high-grade Alligator strap and deployant clasp, but I have fitted it with a Delugs Denim Alcantara strap for now.

The sunburst dial being grey and the moon phase a lacqures blue really draws the eyes to the moon phase complication. The stepped sub-dials give the dial some added depth. A real beauty Stephen.
