Samsung S24 Ultra AI in photos and WRUW

Hopefully it shows in my most recent pictures. I've finally upgraded my old Galaxy Note9 to the new S24 Ultra. I have found some of new AI features actually useful.

First is "Circle to Search"! For example, here on WC sometimes I will see an awesome watch in #wruw. Of course there is no description of this watch and I need to know more. I just hold the home button the circle the image and all the search info pops up!

My favorite is the photo enhancement. I used the eraser feature on this picture

Can you spot the difference 🤔?

It helps on cloudy overcast days to bring color into washed out pics

Really enjoy this stuff and figure I'd share with you 😊

I got the idea for this post from Gina @rubies_are_a_girls_best_friend 😁

It's just a tool, no scarier than a hammer. As with any tool, it can be used by an individual to create beauty and discover new things or create havoc. It's up to you how to use it.

That's because Siri is damn near useless 🤣. I drive for a living, so I don't trust self driving cars either. There's a reason why they "sandbox" them in small sections of warm sunny cities

Yeah, specially after my dad took me to see 2001: A Space Odyssey as a child. Hal really did a number on my impressionable mind, lol.

Don't believe the sensationalized hype. Computers can only regurgitate what is given to them. All of use will be old and dead before computers are self aware. We don't even know how the brain works, let alone make a artificial one

When space travel no longer requires sitting on top of an oversized ballistic missile, then I will consider the whims of Hollywood

No, they're already past that stage and can learn and adapt by themselves, though self-awareness is a way off yet. I don't see it as being harmful once it is though.

I don't generally have a problem with AI, except where it's used as bots to influence the gullible, especially come election time. Twitter, Facebook and the rest should be turned off for 2024.
