Frederick Constant
Hello wherever you are. I haven't been long in watch collecting but I've had 2 phases, enthusiasm, then slow down now back at enthusiasm. I started strong in approximately 2018-19, then I slowed down. I'm now back probably OVERLY enthusiastic as I have 2 watches coming this year and looking at a couple more, I'm also waiting to hear from Rolex within the next few months, or going with the Omega Aqua Terra. I have a Frederick Constant world timer in my basket on Amazon but I'm a little concerned! For those that are familiar is this ACTUALLY a world timer and is it a nice watch? Thanks

I haven’t looked too closely at this particular model, but I believe it’s a world timer. I assume that numbered ring rotates once in 24 hours and tells you the time in the listed cities. ie. in the picture, it’s noon in Cairo and 2am in LA.
Yes, that’s a world timer. Frédérique Constant is a well known Swiss brand and sister company of Alpina. Both brands are now under the Citizen umbrella.
I haven’t owned a FC, but have had a few Alpina’s (which is basically their sports brand) and the quality is very good.
If you do choose this, you should be getting a very nice watch.
