John Lennon Watch?

I visited The Beatles Museum in Liverpool today and on display was John Lennon's watch from very early in his career. Try as I might I could not identify the make........the closest I came was Casio but that can't be right , or can it?

Very interesting but I'm afraid I have no knowledge at all! I'm surprises one of the vintage guys hasn't responded on this? I'm wondering if it is something Russian or Eastern European perhaps? They were cheap and abundant at the time. Aurelian on this forum is the man in the know although there isn't much to go on from the picture. He normally suggests taking the back off but obviously you can't do that when it's in a museum!

Make me wonder what kind of watches the Beatles wear. that one right there looks like it was almost torn of by love groupies.

If you were wondering what kind of watches the Beatles wear, you might be interested in my (so far) five part series on the topic which starts here: https://www.watchcrunch.com/Shakespeare/posts/the-beatles-and-their-watches-part-i-the-pateks-27394
